Visiting Dick in Seaside
For quite a few years now I have known Dick from Fibs where we both play backgammon regularily. One of his hobbies is to send out links to interesting or funny videos and interesting web sites which I always enjoy reading, and sometimes I write back with comments. Dick knows that we are juggling so he keeps us updated about juggling or general Vaudeville videos like this Michael Davis performance for Ronald Reagan. The funniest example is the viral OBI advertisement which features Till Pöhlmann (it's probably a fake according to his website, but a good one). Dick sent it to us and we could proudly report back that we are living a few blocks from that celebrity and used to juggle in the same practice space. What a coincidence.
So finally we met Dick and his wife Margene in their lovely house in Seaside, went for a walk on the beach and had a late lunch together. Dick is surely living in a nice place.
We then stayed in Seaside for the night and spent the next day on the beach. I even got to do some body surfing.
