For Marjorie

Marjorie died on Sunday, October 12th 2014, at home. When she was still alive Michelle and Robin wrote the page below. We are sad that she is not among us any longer.

Dear Marjorie,

we think of you all the time and want to send you some happy memories while you are recovering. Robin drew pictures of the stuffed animals you gave him and Missy has mades sketches based on stories you have told her.

Three pictures have to do with three separate meetings of Prince Albert/King George VI. I (Peter) have put it all on this web site so that people can show it to you on an ipad. You can click on an image to enlarge it.

We hope you enjoy the pictures. We love you!

Missy, Robin and Peter

This is Robin holding "Kangi" and "Kitra" ("Kitten/tiger") which you have given him through donations to the WWF. He just loves them.

This letter Robin wrote to you on his own.
Robin is just learning cursive in school so I'd better repeat it in print but I found it so cute. He thinks of you often. It says:

"Dear Aunt Marjorie,

I hope you feel better soon. I have heard of Henri Matisse and I now know his saying: "Creative people are curious, flexible, persistent and independent with a tremendous spirit of adventure and a love of play." (I think they also live longer.) (I think you are creative.)

I'm having fun at school :-) I hope you live long enough to read this message.

Love, Robin (signer) + Missy

Robin wrote this message."

Drawings of the two animals.
The text says (I let it stay uncorrected): "my stuffed animal (and playmate). Kangiy say: "Kang-gy".

my favorit stuffed animals came from ------> you majorie and here they are!"

Drawings from personal stories Aunt Marjorie has told Missy:
The curtsey/meeting Prince Albert
Parachute Ride on the World Fair 1939
